Invisible bra type covering

Does anyone have experience with any of the available clear coverings for the front of the car and or the head lights. There are a number of outfits that sell pre-cut masks for the hood and one outfit also has the bumper.

I was looking at the non-precut versions of this and I still worry about getting a big surprise in the spring, lifting off my (newish) paint along with the material. This is not to say that this stuff won't work on factory paint, but...

Had it on SWMBO's car. Didn't help worth **** when Rugrat ran a stop sign and T-boned a pickup. Should help with bugs, though.

Sorry, couldn't resist......

Check this out: http://www.automotivearticles.com/Clear_Bra_3M.shtml

I currently have my Euro lenses covered on my SL as well as the front end of my '06 Pilot and '08 Golf.

The stuff is good. In fact, I was installing the same stuff on aircraft radomes in the early 80's.

Radome = nose (the pointy part at the front)
