Ignition module
I want to bench check the ignition module from my '77 450SL. What I need are the waveforms associated with the module. The amplitude and polarity of the distributor pick up coil waveform & those from the diagnostic plug would be helpful. A schematic of the module would be helpful.

No schematics around, but a spare module off ebay should be easy to pick up.
Basically, it's a big darlington and a few other bits thrown in for effect. -cth |

The part number on the module is 0227 100 001B. I'm not sure that it is bad. The tach works, I believe it gets its input from the module. All I need is the waveform off the pick-up coil in the distributor to set up a bench test of the unit. The usually are a modified sawtooth but I don't know the amplitude.
