Making the decision to swap an engine because you have one is generally not a good idea, unless the engine you happen to have is something like a 426 Hemi.

I do have a diesel pickup truck, a Dodge Ram 4X4 with a 6 inch lift kit! I wanna Turbodiesel SL! But seriously, you spent $15K in parts and another $5K in tools because your putting in a V12! Nice conversion, but I'm after something a bit more economical! I found this link in the diesel section! This is what I'm after.
