Paint Color Code-96 SL500

I have a red 96 SL500 and would like to know where I can look to determine the color code. I looked on the drivers door yet all they really provide is the serial number and build date.

I'm not sure where it is on that car but you can get it on the VMI from the dealer or by running the VIN here - http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng You could probably figure it out at www.paintscratch.com too - likely 582 Imperial Red.
