Just fixed my center vents - Airbag connector question?

Just got done fixing my center vents by replacing the pod just to the top left of the radio. Went fairly well - top 3 problems: 1) Drilling out the rivet, 2) drilling out the rivet and 3) drilling out the rivet! Ha! Actually, the job was a lot easier than I anticipated and only took several hours.

I do have another problem though. When I went to disconnect the airbag connector under the drivers side dash area, the red plastic connector broke. The very base of the thing stayed connected to the car, but the rest of it broke off (after it broke off, it made pulling the thing apart a lot easier!). I have reinstalled everything and reconnected the airbags and started and ran the car for a few minutes, but this connector is not secured real well to the car now. Anyone think that this may present a problem? I could probably super glue the connector back together. I don't want this airbag deploying on me while I'm driving down the road...

Use a narrow zip tie to hold the connector together.

I'm not sure I can run a zip around it??? It would have to go under the part that the red connector is connected to...

Oh, you mean the plug assembly has detatched from a holder on the "part" not the plug assembly itself being broken.

I wouldn't worry too much it's just an anchor. Take a picture!

Here is a picture - you'll notice the 'base' part at the top of the picture still attached to the car. The plug is the red at the bottom of the picture just hanging there - it is connected - that is, the plug is plugged in...

yeah, I wouldn't worry too much, just tie it up somehow. if you really want to fix it, I'm sure something can be had at a wrecking yard.
Airbags won't deploy unless the inertia sensors up front have sensed a sudden change in direction.
