If the covers are still intact, then new horsehair padding can do a lot to bring them back.

Each pleat also has it's own stuffing, which may be a bit tedious to replace.

Armrests were optional on the early R107 cars, the seat frame has the attachment, just need to acquire an armrest.

Don't want to hijack your thread but I have '72 seat with armrest and my "73 doesn't have one. Instead the backrest adjustment is there. Wouldn't you have to move that to the other side to install the armrest?

I had mine redone, new leather and new horsehair, I just saved the frames. The job came out great.

I'd talk them down on that 107, I absolutely hate that avocado interior, but to each their own...Thoes seats are a great incentive to recolor the interior.
