Smile R&R Injector,Step by Step,W/PICS,560sl

First I want to thank all those that helped me.So I will pay it forward with
pictures and how I accomplished this task.
1.TOOLS-#5 Allen Head Socket,#12 metric open end wrench, small screw driver,Carb Cleaner, clean shop rags, regular pair of pliers and a Giant Pair of 90 degree Pliers.Got the Pliers at Harbor Freight Tools.
2.Take off the Gas Cap and release pressure. Take off large vacumn hose that goes to
each plastic injector boss.See PIC 1, then with # 12 wrench undo cap nut
on the injector, then remove the screw with allen socket, put in a bowl so
you don't lose it.Take off the hold down bracket put it the bowl.In PIC 4 you can see
the tophat O ring around the injector,in PIC 5 the Oring at the bottom of the Boss.
3.Spray around bottom of plastic holder(All four of them)for the injector.
4.Remove injectors with regular pliers.Pull St. up.Then with fingers,move
the plastic boss from rt. to left nine or ten times. Then with Giant Pliers,
move in from behind the plastic boss and hook just under the lip of the
plastic,DO NOT SQUEEZE.Pull st. up.I did not break one of them.(I was
warned that I would break them due to heat and brittleness of the plastic. Now take the small screw driver and remove O ring in the hole.
5.Clean the hole with clean shop rag.Clean all the plastic bosses with
carb cleaner.Put plastic bosses back in head hole with new O rings and press down
very hard on the boss till it snaps back into place you will feel it and then
reverse procedure. If I left anything out I'm sure someone will correct me.
I don't know what MB charges for this but this cost me around $250.
My 560sl now starts with out 10-15 secs of grinding. No leakdown over night,no vacumn
leaks around the injectors and then no hard starting in the AM.Instant start!!
