Best suspension tuning for my '84 380sl?
Other than ensuring that ball joints, a-arm bushings and sub frame bushings are at spec, what would give my 380sl a better, tighter road feel? Feels a little squishy when in fact I think it could be improved greatly. Poly bushings, different shock set? Any tips? Also, I suspect that caster/camber could be corrected on my car -anything special about the C/C set up on this vin SL? Thanks!

Shocks-Struts
I just had a set of bilstiens all the way around on mine (1985 380 SL) and what a difference- It feels like a tight little racer- mind the speed bumps....

I agree with Tims450SL. I did Bilsteins, sway bar links/bushings, subframe bushings and steering dampener. Quite a difference! Remember that the steering box may be a bit loose, adding to the squishy feeling.

box has been adjusted -seems to me that i read somewhere that most Sl's are adjusted improperly for caster/camber by alignment shops and that there is a very specific way to adjust. Anyone?
