1987 560 sl ac drain hose(s)

Hell! I amnew to this website. My 1987 560sl, the a/c/ drain hose keeps getting stopped up, is there something I can swab inside the hose to keep it from getting stoppe up? by stopped up I mean theendof the hose gets stuck together. I also would like to clean-out the box where the evaporator core is, as I'm sure there isan accumulation of dirt/debris/etc.
has anyone done this before, and is it difficult to getto the evaporator core?

Well I jacked up the car and found the drain hoses (6), and some of them had mud from the dirt accumulated in the evaporator core box.When I was trying to reach up and clean them out, three of the came out! now I don't know if that is normal or not, as when I re-inserted them they went in the grommets so loosely I'm afraid they might fall out. Now all I need to do is find out how to clean out thedirt/mud that I'm sure is around the evaporator core.

Any ideas on how to do this?,also has anyoneever replaced the brushes and bearings on the blower fan?
