Are all R107 seats plug and play in any R107 chassis?

I recall reading that the SLC seats sit "lower" but would bolt in to an SL.
Can't seem to find where I saw that info though |

SLC seats have a different stitch pattern vs the SL. SLCs use a french stitch around the outside of the seating area.

I have been looking for a replacement to automatic seats for my 560SL. I notice on my seats they bolted to the side of bottom floor and most of other Mercedes late model the seat assembly mounted directly to the floor. I am still looking!!!!
