Need help to find possible vacuum leak

'75 450SL

When I shift out of neutral, the engine drags down enough that it dies. I also cannot control the idle with the air slide valve to any great extent. I replaced the vacuum tubing for the emissions and distributor advance / retard systems, but now this problem started up.

How is the vacuum to the transmission routed, to get it to disengage the tranny until the engine RPM's build. While I was underneath the car for 2 weekends, I couldn't find anything obviously wrong.

Any suggestions or ideas???

Thanks,
Scott
