450 wont run/ took apart fuel distributor need parts

removed my fuel distribitor, seen were it was apart before. tore it down. all the rubber seals are broke apart.two of the brass spring holders are gone. were can i get these metal retainers and rubber seals.thanks for all the help

well, there's your problem ;-)

Save yourself aggravation and grief... source a replacement rebuilt unit. Parts are nigh impossible to source for these things.

The diaphragm can be obtained Item 300390827996 here is a pic of the new and old ones. The "O" rings are also sourceable and if you PM your email I can send you a PDF file with step-by-step overhaul procedures and where you can source items required. Please note that cast iron FD had stainless steel diaphragm and the alloy types have silicon/butyl type due to metal reactions between steel and aluminium.

The main O seal perish with time and allows "false air" to pass through. Whenever you remove the distributor it is essential to replace the O ring seal and coated with petroleum jelly. Autohouse and Fastlane keeps spares and sealing kits for CIS fuel distributors.
