Steering wheel removal

When reattaching the steering wheel, the shop manual says "always replace countersunk screw with micro-encaplulated threads." (This is the big center allen screw that holds the steering wheel on.) Do you really need to replace this?

They say to tighten it at "80 Nm (8kpm)." I have a torque wrench, but it just says "Centimeter Kilograms" on it. What does 8 kpm translate to in Centimeter Kilograms?

Why are they acting like this is so delicate?

Also, there's an airbag on mine (a euro) that the manual doesn't show. Does this totally change everything?

IF you use fresh blue "loctite" on the old bolt it will suffice.
80NM is equal to 56ftlbs.
