What is hot and what is not?
I am in the process of purchasing 1982 380SL. Hubby wants to know what the average running temp. is on this car?

I think it is 80c-90c.
But more important is to check out the timing chain. The 82 380SL has a single row timing chain which is prone to stretching then causing a catastrophic engine failure. If you do a search of this forum for "timing chain" you should find lots of discussion of this topic. |
