Questions... with the ignition switch on and terminal 87 on the fuel pump relay is hot, will it be hot on the + side of the fuel pump? Is the 1-2 sec pulse controlled by the ECM or the pump itself when it pressurizes? Relay appears to be good, fuel pump runs when jumped but no power at pump. Its my understanding that power is sent to pump thru terminal 87 on relay and ECM controls on and off thru ground, right? If the wire from relay to pump is supposed to be hot with the ignition switch on, where would you check for breaks between the relay and the pump? Thanks for any help.
