Has anyone ever had a 107 door fly open?
In addition to the other problems I've been working on, my passenger side door has flown open 2 or 3 times now while I was driving down the hwy, even though I could swear that it was properly closed, but not locked.
Anybody ever have this problem? |

you have an issue with the latch mechanism, working properly they are impossible to open on thier own. I would look to the lever arms and then the actual catch, all parts of the mechanism can be accessed

Thanks for the response. I'm thinking now that the door wasn't closing all the way because the window was getting caught on the weatherstripping that runs up along the front pillar. So, I guess I'll have to start playing around with the window adjustments to see if I can move the window back a tad. |
