I did read that MB classic center just gave the thumbs up to the W107 to be listed as a "classic" MB in the museum. That may make the value go in the future.

Have you tried eBay? You mentioned that you don't have an account, that's easy to get so get an account and try there.
Don''t worry about feedback, you're not getting a good price as it is so you have nothing to loose.

List it on ebay as an auction starting at the bare min that you can take + $125 which is the fee that eBay will take if the car sells. If there is a lot of interest, then people will bid up from that amount.

Do you have a Carmax in your area? They buy cars even if you aren't buying from them. Look in your area for independent agencies that buy cars from individuals - they may low ball you, but you are just looking to unload it and money is money.
