Check all the bulbs in the front and rear lights. Some bulbs have more than one filament and in a muti-filament bulb, if one filament is broken, then it may cause the flasher to blink at a different rate and the bulb may appear to be working with the remaining good filament.

Regards

PS - Also check the bulb sockets and ground wires. If there is any corrosion on the socket contacts or the ground contact, the change in resistance can cause a change in the flash rate.

Since it's just one side, it makes a bad ground/bad bulb most suspect.

You can eliminate the bulbs by moving the left side bulbs (front and rear) to the right side and vice versa. If the problem moves to the other side, then it's a bulb issue. If not, then it's a bulb socket, wire or ground issue.

I had a "hyper" R-turn signal...bulb looked fine, had to work on the socket for a bit to get it to "connect" with the bulb again...problem fixed.

Contact cleaner and a decent pencil eraser...nothing too abrasive...

Then, after the "scrubbing" - I found some old socket grease (GM product) I had and "Q-Tipped" a light coating inside the socket and around the base of the bulb...then I cleaned up the other side to be sure I wasn't having to do this during the winter/cold.

They're working like day one...fresh off the assembly line.
