idle fuse keeps blowing
On our 86'...560SL...the idle fuse blows and power antenna, trunk light and others stopped working....what is the likely item to look at first...

Mick Lauder Anna Maria Island FL/StLouis, MO PS...Just did a search on how to release the soft top cover when it is stored...great post...problem solved....excellent advice tying a heavy string to the cable and feeding into trunk in case this happens again...I wish I did it before this issue raised its head....I will pass this idea onto others with 107's

Look at the wiring diagram and check all the components on the circuit. There may be a short somewhere. Check the circuit wires for bad insulation. Use a VOM to check continuity and resistance of the circuit and components.
