2003 SL Shift lever rebuild
Does anyone have any information on the rebuild / replacement of gear shift lever? It is difficult to get the car out of park. This does not happen all the time. Sometimes it works ok and other times it takes a great deal of force to move into gear. MB dealer says this is a common problem and the lever must be rebuilt as there are no new ones available. The brake pedal switch has been checked and found to be working properly. Any solutions / suggestions are appreciated.
