Hot stuff

Hi I have a problem with my heater. For reasons unknown it always blows hot. If I mess with the settings I can get cold from some of the vents but it still blows hot out of others. What can I replace to solve this. Any help would be gratefully appriciated.

My car is an 82 380 SL.

If you have one of the automatic climate control systems, this is often a symptom of a failed monovalve. It is an electric valve that is open when off, and closed when on or energized. It is supposed to be an inexpensive repair by getting a rebuild kit, and spending a few minutes. There are multiple sources for the kit.
