Info/picture request of Normetta band clamp on throttle body

I am trying to repair the Normetta band clamp that attaches the rubber air guide boot to the throttle body on a 1984 380sl. I'm pretty sure this part is common to many different models but I cannot find any detailed documentation of a repair to this particular clamp. I don't believe that anything is physically broken, I just think the banding became disengaged from the buckle when I was loosening it and now I am trying to figure out how to reassemble on the car. If anybody has this part laying on their workbench and could snap a couple pictures and describe the band routing, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I've attached the only picture of the clamp I could find on this forum for reference.

I may be wrong, so don't quote me, but I recall a BMW band working better than the OEM one. Wish I could recall the thread, it was very specific to the one used.

I dont have a picture but I had to repair mine also. Should be 2 loops of strap. The end of the outer loop will slip into a slot on the tightening bolt. The end of the strap had broken off in the slot in the bolt. I used a small pick to get the piece out of the slot. Slid the end of the strap in it and tightend it down.

rgrady, this might be the tip I needed. I took a closer look at the tightening screw and realized that there is a slot in it as you mentioned. Mine was filled with dirt and maybe even a broken piece of the band too. I was able to clean it out and all I need to do now is get the end of the band in the slot far enough to hold while I retighten. Thanks!
