No, mig. I looked at the bushings and they don't seem bad, so I'm not going to replace them. I'm going to change out the rotors, pads, brake lines and brake fluid. The tie rods seem to have a little play so I'll probably change those as well.

Did you read my thread?
The procedure calls for MIG welding and to fully weld on the inboard side only.

Welding completely all the way around is overkill and might have generated enough heat to pooch the bushings.

Just saying.

As stated, mig, not stick. I welded small areas at a time and cooled the bushings with compressed air as I went. I did weld both sides; oh well. The bushings look the same as they did when I started, no smoking during the welding. They should be fine.

Sorry......when you said "no mig" I thought it meant you didn't have a MIG.

OK, well using compressed air inbetween is a good idea and is actually called out in the repair procedure. You're probably ok.
