R107 blower
Regarding the fuse, did you actually remove it to inspect. With these fuses it is important to do so as they may look good but are not. Unseen hair line cracks can cause the fuse to fail while still making the fuse look OK.
If the fuse is OK, and you feel the dash CCU (climate control unit)is working, lift the hood and remove the blower housing lid. This is the plastic dome behind the air breather high on the firewall. Your blower motor and resistor are located within. Spin the squirrel cage with your finger. You want the cage to spin without resistance. Inspect the electrical connections. If all looks good, remove the resistor and inspect for broken or burned out springs within. |

Jiggle the key with the blower on high and def. If it starts check ignition switch.

blower motor
we have ruled out the blower motor as the problem, and we have checked the relay under the glove box and power is going to it

There is a bi-metallic strip in the resistor cage that can get out of adjustment. The purpose is to open the circuit to the motor if it draws too much current. You might be able to 'tweak' the contacts back in to adjustment, if they've bent aoart too much with heat cycling. The metal strip contacts themselves may need to be cleaned. Do NOT use a file, or anything metallic. coarse paper only, NOT sandpaper, something like a business card.
Hope this helps Scott

Check if your blower works in De-ice mode (left most button). That bypasses allot of stuff and powers directly to the blower. If you have blower in de-ice mode then it probably is the push button assembly.

blower motor
I do not have anything in the defrost mode, I beginning to believe that the problem is the push button control unit, and guesses on that?
