Oil pressure?
Just installed a dash coverlay and re-started the car.....noticed the gauge wasn't registering any oil pressure! Ran it for a few minutes; maybe 5, but shut it off. I didn't hear any noises and it was warming up as usual.
Any thoughts as to how I can find out what's going on? Can I test the gauge or something like that? Many thanks in advance for help. This is an 82 380...which was runs well. Dan |

I am going to guess you have a kink in your oil pressure guage supply line.

You may have broken the ground connection on the back of the instument cluster while installing the dash cover. There are a lot of write-ups here on the forum on how to check and repair the connection. Do a forum search.

My 82 does that from time to time, I tap on the glass and she pops right up there! That may not be the answer for yours...but it just might work! How's that for a simplistic approach..
