97 SL front tow hook cover

I just got my 1997 SL500 back from the shop after being damaged in a hit and run on my birthday. Today, I let a friend drive it and he pulled over a curb and the front tow cover popped off with out him knowing it. Unfortunately, the dealer wants $140 for the part and $90 to paint it! UGH! The part number is 1298800205999. Does anyone know of someone who has a used one they may be willing to sell or do you know of a place I might get one other than the dealer? The local dismantler doesn't have one either. Thank s for reading my post.
