seat stuck

I have a 2005 SL500 seat stuck all the way back, can't get to the bolts on the back to remove the seat, to check the motors. the head rest work, lumbar pump automatically when the key turn on. anythings else don't work on the seat. switched the switch and control module one at the time to the passenger side both work. do the same switched the passenger side to the driver side, it work, but on the wrong side. it still operate the passenger seat. can any body help me out with these. Thank you
