I do not care for useless Sticky's on forums. Waste of space. At least this one on benzworld.org 107 forum is active and contains useful information including DIY articles. The Encyclopaedia Germanica Volume 107 (aka EGv107) - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

start a new tread with your question , but looks like your key switch is not wired correctly.
Did this problem just appear or did you do some work and it appeared?
How worn is the key?

Car has original 60,000 miles i have both keys, neither key is badly worn. The issue is electrical after i remove the key the charging indiacator stays lite on the dash. I just found a original Mercedes Tech manual from 1973 so i can begin the trace of the wiring diagram. Thanks for your input

I agree with gsjohnson regarding differential rebuild. I am about to tackle this on my 1987 560SL and would appreciate any tips and tricks!

It's been over a year since this great idea by Trinidad. Looks like he has fizzled by the wayside
