I get this when I ran the VIN, not 100% sure it will be accurate

Not the Russian but similar, and agree that would be my first choice - Classic Center
On the old 220 I pulled out if a barn , I simply emailed them with the VIN a week or so later they emailed me the VIN plate and PDF of build card with all the data I needed, not sure that is how it is done now

I have never heard of the US Classic Center not supplying the information. They did start asking for proof of ownership. I have several 107s including 3 280SLs and a 500SL. All 280s and 500s are Euros and have received data on all of them.

they did not have mine either
Classic center did not help me with the '84 280sl. They could get any part I wanted but the data card was unavailable. No Ignition tumbler available for me either. It was not in their system. My dealer had classics on the line while I waited. I heard the conversation. They could not help. They had interior codes and such, but thats it. No luck. I may try again, when i have time.

I just went through the ignition tumbler replacement on my 500SL and 560SL. Different parts. The 560 was still available matched to my VIN. The 500 was not available matched so I bought the shop version. Now I have two keys for the car.
I don't know what you expect a data card to show. The engine and trans numbers are shown. The color and option codes are listed. If they had these that is basically it. Many of the codes are also shown on the body plate attached to the upper core support. Remove the plastic jack base plate mount cover. There may be a build sheet there that also lists several of the codes. There was on my '84 500SL.
