Windshield clips for 280 sl R107

Can anyone tell me where I can find the 16 windshield clips for 1981 mercedes R107? They are attached by a 1/8"or so rivet. These hold the trim in place. Windshield guy took my glass out today and 4 or 5 of the clips are rusted or broken. Also looking for the 10 or so little phillips head screws that are 3 different sizes. 4 on top rail and 3 or 4 that screw in down the sides. I have searched the internet to no avail. Help!

Dealer or Classic Center. Not unique to the Euro model.

The clip question is interesting - I've broken a few myself, and just worked around it, because the trim still held. This is a bad policy, because the trim DOES aid in holding the window in place in case something bad happens. I looked it up on the EPC, and they MIGHT be

A1079883578

And they looked pretty cheap. The parts site I usually use isn't working right now, but another one is, and they look to be about $0.40 each. The rivet is extra, and I have no idea how one would install a riveted item like that without some really serious disassembly. Screws and/or aluminum rivets aren't going to do the job. Oddly, the clips on the hardtop rear window are different!

Looks like there may be two different clips. One strife listed (quantity 6) and A1079881578 (quantity 12). Best to use the dealer to verify.

windshield clips for 280, 380 SL

Rowdie and Strife:

I found the clips (18 required) and rivets at one of the mercedes dealerships in Charlotte, NC. Not cheap but I have to get them. $63.00 and some change. Had to take a couple of the old clips up there for them to match. Thanks for all the help you have provided to me on all my questions. Actually, I am beginning to enjoy working on this car. If it is okay, look for me to ask more questions and learn all I can from you guys. Have a wonderful week. Ron from S.C.

Looking closely at a blown-up picture in the EPC, these DO look like pop rivets, probably made of aluminum. Surprising, if true.

Strife:

You are correct, these are alum rivets.
