auxillary battery replacement...HELP
 

Is there a DIY on aux battery replacement on the 2003 sl500? need to replace and don't know where to start or even where it is on this new to me body style

If you have not solved already check your owners manual. There is a small battery under the hood and a large consumer battery in the trunk next to the spare tire. I think you disconnect the one under the hood first and then the consumer battery, your owners manual will confirm this. Good luck!
