locking lever
 

can anyone tell me how to remove the locking lever? it looks like the handle slides back on the center pin to remove ? I need to get to the seat belt retractor and thought I better ask before I break something.

I think the trim part is missing, but the narrow sort of a dull metal part somes off, I think it slides towards the black knob, and either that unclips the whole handle or there is a machine screw under that which hold the handle on. I think once the large handle is off the smaller one will simply come off.

The cosmetic cover is missing....but you are correct. Just slide that piece off and the handles will both pull off the splined shaft.
