On a LHD....it's a piece of cake....almost like it has a zipper....in and out!

RHD....it's a 3 day job.

OK...I really don't know....just yanking your chain.

Let me page my friend who has the same car as you.

Standby.

OK I emailed buddy...he should be along.

Question: How old is the pump?

Maybe it's a good time to carry out the preventative maintenance on the whole coolant system.

New thermostat, pump, hoses and a flush.

Unfortunately you'll have to remove the pump to replace this short hose to the head. Even removing the pump is a PIA. Like my buddy Nobby suggested, might as well replace the pump while you are at it. Also replace upper and lower rad hose.

Silicone hose may work. It is very flexible.
