There are two coolant hoses / tubes running into the top of washer bottle. This is the heated washer fluid system. The thermostat in the tube coil or the coil it self is leaking. You can find some steel rod and block off the hoses. I think the hose is 8 MM ( 5/16" ) If you don't drive in winter snow / ice, heated washer fluid won't miss the system.

Do not connect the hoses together as this will bypass water around the rad.

On my 97 SL320 I bypassed heated washer fluid and heated base of windshield systems as I don't drive it in snow.
