1997 SL500 Crank No Start

Two different known good crankshaft position sensors installed and car still cranks with no start condition. I can hear the fuel pump energizing in the trunk with the key in the "on" position. OBDII code reader reveals P0441 code. I have had the car for 4 weeks and it has run flawlessly until now. Any ideas?

It is always helpful to post the code description.

Put a test light across an injector and look for light to blink when cranking.

You also need to check power feed to ignition coils.

Pull a spark plug on each side of engine and do a quick compression test to assure the timing chain is OK.
