New Toy-'78 450SLC
Finally pulled the trigger on a 450SLC. Good driver quality car, but at 220,000, she has some needs. Looking forward to getting help on this forum. Are there other forums that deal specifically with the SLC?

This forum seems to lean diesel anymore, I gather it at one time was a better mix. There are still a few R107 guys on here. I have one, a C107 forum I am not aware of. But any R107 info is basically the same.

R/C107 SL/SLC Class - Mercedes-Benz Forum A very active 107 forum. Plenty of R/C 107 owners there.

Congrats, I've been working on my 1980 450SLC it's starting 2 come together. 560SL brakes have 4 piston calipers, but U need the rront hubs. Euro cams & a euro ecu helps. The suspension is easy 2 improve. Bilstien shocks, polygraphite bushings, 560 swaybars are bigger, even loweres springs & rear camber bushings if U want. A 380 sl limited slip rearend @ 3.27 helps & not sure, but a 722.6 tranny w/5 gears an overdrive might fit. There is much more. Hit me back if U want. Best of luck
