Anybody got a good used axle for an '81 380sl?

The left axle of my 81 380 seems to be knocking when I coast after decelerating, and occasionally when I shift into reverse, and the other usual suspects seem to be fine. So, I'm looking for a good replacement.

Are you absolutely positive its not the short link that sits right behind the wheel? I had the same issue with my 380 SL, and i too swore it was the axle clunking, it sounds exactly like its coming from the axle.
