Seems forums have been dead here and everywhere lately. Dimitri trying to stir the pot a little?

I would go along with the 50s 300SL, but not the 190SL or E. And how would any of us know if those exotics like SSK, SLR and 540K were good cars or not?

The W123/W126 diesels were arguably among the best cars MB ever built, at least as everyday drivers. And the W126 gassers toward end of their run were impressive cars.

The 107s were no doubt one of MBs most successful models. It still amazes me that my 72 doesn't feel much different to drive than a much more recent car.
