Fiberglass Euro bumper replicas

I finally have some euro bumpers with no rust. I'm planning to pull a mold off of them to make fiberglass and/or carbon fiber replicas for my
450 SLC track car i'm building. Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a set of these. If it looks like there is some interest i would make the mold more accurate so less body work on them. Painting would be easy and i think chrome vinyl vehicle wrap could be an option for the non amg look.

If the bumpers fit a 1981 380SL, I would be interested in learning more. Thanks.

Yes they would replace u.s. bumpers. I could probably put a steel bar inside to help a little in a collision and for secure mounting. Mine will be as light as possible though. Mounting would be in the factory holes so no hacking your car up and easy reversal if necessary for inspection or something.

The problem with the North American later models is they don't have the threaded holes for the two center brackets of the Euro style bumpers.. Not sure when the changed happened.

74 and up U.S. cars are big Bumper. I will make them to use the U.S. mounting points. I would think anyone interested would be replacing big bumpers. Replacing rusty euros wouldn't be too difficult with some brackets fiberglassed in though. I'm sure I could provide a shell and let you come up with mounting that suits you. A full tubular bumper could be fabricated to fit inside and be secured with expanding foam or more fiberglass.
