Leak under dash

Greeting Forum Members,

I have a water leak under the dashboard on the passanger side of my 1972 350sl.
It appears to be comming from the right side of the heater core casing.
Do the drain hoses on the left and right of the transmission tunnel drain the heater core/ventilation housing?
If so maybe the hose or housing section that leads to the drain hose is clogged.
Has anyone had to remedy a similuar problem?
What is the best way to unclog the housing short of dismantling it if I find the housing to be clogged?

Thanks in advance for all replys,

Knarf

The water is condensation from the A/C. It does, in fact, drain through the tubes in the transmission tunnel (at least it should). Mine were plugged up pretty good. After two attempts to unplug them from below, I gave up and took it to my Mercedes mechanic. $36 and no more water coming into the passenger compartment. It was worth it.
