Fuel leak

Happy 4th of July! Was going for a nice long ride today in my 380SL but oh the joy of owning an old SL. My fuel hose from the gas tank is leaking. Has anyone replaced this and could let me know of any tips other than the obvious that the tank will have to be drained.
