Cool Bad Hot Start Problem---Solved

Thanks to all who gave advise regarding the slow "cranky'
start problem I was having with my 79 450 SLC. It turned out to be the Accumulator. I also, in the process of finding the problem, replaced the fuel pump which also turned out to be bad. Thanks again for your help.

I also had sprung a leak in the radiator and had it repaired. This partially reduced my running tempurature. BUT!!! I can not believe how small this radiator is. Its no wonder that these cars tend to run hot, especially in heavy traffic and at higher speeds. The one that I had in Phoenix (79 450 SL) I almost had to park in the summer.
