Not very difficult!

Please do not get the wrong idea. Taking out the seat is pretty easy. After some goofy threaded rod system I devised, I then used a pry bar with a hook attached. The hook was made form a very heavy duty coat hanger, the kind that comes back with blankets and such. Just hook the spring and lever the bar against the sheet metal flange. It's right there. This makes it simple and easy. The rest of the procedure is listed in an earlier post. If you have any specific questions, let me know. By the way, the brass bushing I made was done 4 years ago and I have not thought of it since.

Yes, I read the prev. posts. I will give it a try w/ the pry rod arrangement you mentioned.

If it weren't for this clunky seat issue, I'd have a flawless ride...this is certainly worth my effort, I'm sure!
