what are the different models, if any, of mb diesel convertibles?

MB never made a diesel SL, and to the best of my knowledge none of the other convertibles were produced with diesels.

There was a company who took a 123 coupe and made it into a convertable. I got to drive one here that was in Weatherford, Texas.
Don't consider it. A tremendous amount of body twist and the quality of the job was not great. Dave

The coupe-turned-convertible is one of the not-too-rare scams in certain models, especially the 111 body. MB put a lot of engineering effort into body integrity and rigidity in their convertibles, and a converted coupe will not be the equal of an original. More than one 111 buyer has found out his car isn't what he thought he was buying, and isn't worth what he thought it was.
Again, to your original question, I'm comfortable stating there was never a production diesel convertible from MB, and the only 2-door diesel was the 123 coupe. If there's an exception to that rule, it's a major rarity that I haven't found documented.

It's been stated already, but NO convertible had a diesel from Stuttgart. I mean, horsepower issues aside, can you image how LOUD that would be? 80 degrees and sunny, 75 mph and diesel klatta drowning out the police sirens following you....

Add the new (W209) CLK270 CDi and (W203) C220 SC CDi to the list of two door diesel coupes. MB has recently gone on record that it will not make a diesel convertible (so no CLK270 CDi soft top). Interestingly BMW has just put the 3.0litre straight-six in its 3-er coupe (but not the convertible). Audi is the only manufacturer of a current diesel convertible: A4 2.5 V-6 TDi convertible. I think Audi sold a diesel model of its previous cabriolet with a diesel motor in Germany. I cna't think of any others. Do any of the French soft tops come derv driven?
