Steering wheel options?

I don't like the 250SL steering wheel since the diameter is
so large and the angle is not what I am used to. Since my
wheel is very cracked, I have to get another anyway. I
was wondering if anyone had replaced theirs with a small
one or purchased a smaller Nardi wheel.
Thanks.

It's not that unusual to see a Pagoda with a Nardi wheel, but the smaller diameter may mean some interference with your line of sight to the gauges on the dash.

SL--Anything else is just a Mercedes.

I replaced my 14" steering wheel on my Bug with a sporty 13" unit.

The gauge obstruction was the first obvious flaw.

The extra effort required to turn the wheel was the second.

Also, the turn signal stalk return mechanism may not work with the aftermarket wheel (as was in my case), so you are forced to do this manually.
