grinding noise

have grinding noise right side near wheel turning in both directions.
replaced right shock, tie rod, sway bar bushings
the only other thing i can think of thats causing the rubbing noise is the ball joints.
would they cause a rubbing noise if bad?
i tried to spray wd40 near the ball joints and it stopped the noise once but it has returned.
are the ball joints pressed in and will a shop press them out if i take them the control arm?
