Question hardtop adjustment

I have an 85 380sl which did not have a hardtop when I purchased it.I subsequently bought one from a 560 in like new condition. When installed my passenger window hangs up just slightly on the weatherstripping at the top rear edge of the door glass.Does anyone know what adjustment I could make to correct this? I always see references to dealers adjusting hardtop fit, what do they do?The drivers side is fine.

hard top window fit

This may be a window adjustment, but some comprimise to fit soft top and hard top. This reguires opening the inner door panel and adjusting window slide. and lifting arms. I think this is the route you need to follow. Abe G

The windows should be adjusted to the soft top. The hard top is adjusted to the windows. In other words, if your windows are fine with your soft top on, then you need to adjust your hard top, not your windows.

The height of the hardtop is adjusted by the two rear locking pins. I've forgotten the exact procedure, but it involves popping off the chrome caps and twisting the locking pins until they are a specific height, then reinstalling the chrome caps.
