Ebay 560SL Questions
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6338&item=2414899473&rd=1
OK The car has a lot of miles but the price reflects it. Is it worth it? How long do think it will take for it to fall apart? How much is it really gonna cost in upkeep? Answers from people with over 200,000 miles on thier SL would be appriciated. |

These types of questions are really hard to answer without personally inspecting the car. Pictures aren't a true representation of the condition of the vehicle.
That said, it seems strange that someone would do all the work listed in the auction and not replace the missing air intake hose (a $5 item). A lot of the things he listed as being done are not cheap. At that price, rust would be my biggest concern. Then it would be the condition of the engine. Outside of the fact that the wheels need to be refinished and the air intake hose is missing, I don't see anything in the pictures that indicate problems. But I wouldn't buy it without a personal inspection.
