DIY Wires set replacement

I'm a very medium DIY'er, and I don't want to get in over my head. I have a rough running 560SL that I thought I'd replace the usual iginition items: Distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Are there any special tools or watchout items I need to be aware of if I do this myself? I don't have a garage full of specialty tools, which I know you need once and awhile for this car.
