Which bulb? visor clip?
 

The Performance catalog shows the trunk light as a "10 watt festoon bulb," which is a double-ended tube. But the empty socket for my 85 380SL is for a bayonet style bulb. Could it take the 10 watt tail light bulb (82-096) or something else?

Also, is the Visor Clip (6087) they sell the female part that screws onto the top of the windshield?

Can't help you on the first but the the clip is the female end, not the tab on the visor!!!
